Admission Requirements
- Students must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for an intrastate or 21 years of age for an interstate commercial driver's license
- Students are required to meet all Federal Driver Qualification Standards as outlined in 49CFR Part 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Students must abide by student rules and requirements as explained the first training session
- Refresher and Accelerated course students must possess a valid Temporary Instructional Permit (TIP) with appropriate endorsements and a Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical card
- Experienced drivers only
- CDL Class A applicants who have extensive experience backing a combination vehicle and shifting a split speed transmission
- CDL Class B applicants who have experience backing a box truck and shifting a standard transmission
This program consists of four (4) hours of one-on-one instruction in pre-trip, range, and road maneuvers
Course cost: $775
- CDL Class A applicants who need minimal training to prepare for CDL licensing
Applicants must have extensive experience backing a combination vehicle and shifting a split speed transmission
This eight (8) hour course consists of one-on-one instruction in vehicle inspection, basic maneuvers, and road driving
Course cost: $1375
- CDL Class A applicants with experience backing a trailer and operating a standard transmission
This 24 hour course includes 16 hours of one-on-one instruction and 8 hours of independent study. Training consists of pre-trip inspection, splitter and clutch operation, range maneuvers, and over-the-road instruction
Course cost: $1875
- CDL Class A applicants with little or no commercial driving experience
This 32 hour course includes 20 hours of one-on-one instruction and 12 hours of independent study. Training consists of pre-trip inspection, shifting, splitter and clutch operation, trailer coupling and uncoupling, log books, range maneuvers, and over-the-road instruction
